Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how and why Mr. Vision GmbH processes your personal data when you visit our website mr-vision.ch, contact us or work with us. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we process and why 2.1 Visiting the website

When you access our website, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time, page accessed, referrer, browser type and operating system. We need this data to provide the website securely and reliably, analyse errors and prevent misuse.

2.2 Enquiry form

When you contact us via the enquiry form, we process the information you enter: name and email address (required) and, optionally, company, phone number, event date, location, number of attendees, budget, requested services and your message. We also store an enquiry ID, a timestamp, the processing status and a hashed technical key to protect against spam and misuse.

We use this data exclusively to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out any resulting assignment. Once the enquiry has been stored, we receive an internal email notification.

2.3 Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details and the content of the communication in order to handle your request.

2.4 Clients and business partners

In the context of assignments (e.g. keynotes, robot appearances, corporate events), we process contact, contract and billing data of our clients and contact persons in order to carry out the assignment and meet our legal obligations.

2.5 AI chat (Chatbase)

Our website offers an AI chat. The chat is only loaded when you actively open it. A connection to Chatbase is then established, and your messages are transmitted to and processed by Chatbase. We do not store chat histories in our enquiry database. Please do not enter confidential or sensitive information in the chat. For a binding enquiry, please use the enquiry form.

2.6 Web analytics (Matomo)

With your consent, we use the open-source software Matomo to evaluate the use of our website statistically (e.g. which pages are visited and how often). Matomo runs on our own server in Switzerland; the data is not passed on to third parties. Your IP address is stored in anonymised form. Matomo is only activated once you have consented in the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

2.7 Social media

Our website links to our profiles on LinkedIn and Instagram. These are simple links; no data is transmitted to these platforms when you visit our website. Only when you click a link are you taken to the respective provider's platform, where its privacy policy applies. If you contact us there or comment on our content, we process this information in order to communicate with you.

We use only a few cookies or entries in your browser's local storage:

4. Service providers and processing abroad

To operate the website, we use carefully selected service providers who process personal data on our behalf:

Hosting: Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. The website is delivered and processed via servers in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). As Vercel is a US company, access from the USA cannot be ruled out. Vercel is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; contractual safeguards (standard contractual clauses) are also in place. Enquiry database: Supabase Inc., 970 Toa Payoh North #07-04, Singapore 318992. The database is located in a data centre in Frankfurt (Germany). A data processing agreement and standard contractual clauses are in place. Consent management: CookieFirst (Digital Data Solutions B.V., Netherlands), to manage your cookie consent. AI chat: Chatbase (USA), only if you actively open the chat (see section 2.5). For the transfer to the USA, we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards. According to the Swiss Federal Council, Germany and the Netherlands provide an adequate level of data protection. For transfers to other countries, we ensure adequate protection through the safeguards mentioned above.

Beyond this, we only share personal data where necessary to carry out an assignment (e.g. with event partners with whom we jointly deliver an assignment), where you have consented, or where we are legally obliged to do so. We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention period

We process personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations:

Enquiries without an assignment: deleted no later than 24 months after the last communication. Assignments and business correspondence: retained for 10 years (Art. 958f Swiss Code of Obligations). Technical server logs: no more than 30 days. Web analytics (Matomo): deleted after 24 months at the latest. Cookie consent: 12 months, after which we ask again.

When the data is no longer required for these purposes, we delete or anonymise it.

6. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. These include, in particular, encrypted transmission (HTTPS), passwordless, protected access to our administration area and restricting access to authorised persons.

7. No automated individual decisions

We do not make automated individual decisions and do not carry out profiling.

8. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you have in particular the right to:

To exercise your rights, simply send an email to legal@mr-vision.ch. We may ask for proof of identity. These rights apply subject to statutory requirements and restrictions, e.g. where we must retain data to fulfil a contract or due to legal obligations.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch). Where the GDPR applies, you may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the EU.

9. Changes

We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
